Watersports: Wind Surfing
The Breakers Diving and Surfing Lodge is the ideal place to stay for guests wanting to take advantage of Soma Bay’s perfect windsurfing and sailing conditions. Our shallow water bay is the perfect place to learn to surf and sail, whilst medium to strong winds will satisfy more advanced learners and even experts.
Surf Training
Soma Bay’s surf and sail centre offers training for all levels based on the well-established Robinson watersport learning system. Most courses lead to an official VDWS licence that is recognised all over the world. Training is available for windsurfing and catamaran sailing at beginner, refresher or advanced levels, in private or group tuition.
 
Catamaran Only the best equipment partners are selected to ensure first class rental equipment and facilities. We have over 60 boards and rigs, plus eight Topcoat catamarans. Children should be fourteen years or more to take part in catamaran sailing (dependent on weather conditions).
     
Wind Surfing Equipment Guests wishing to hire equipment may do so with presentation of an accepted certificate showing their practical experience and qualification level. It is also possible to bring your own equipment and we have plenty of storage space available.
